today i got a new pet! it's a golden mystery snail i figured i needed one for the fish tank. was starting to get alot of algae from having to keep the light on in the tank for most of the day. alot of cold evenings and i'd be upset to come home and find my fishie dead! doing some research on mr. snail, i found that unlike most snails, they aren't hermaphrodites! they reproduce like most animals, females needing males in order to reproduce. also, they have gills and lungs. they also have a "safety hatch". i hope he eats the lettuce i put in the tank. he seems to be a little stressed from being in a new environment and all. i hope he doens't die lol. wish me luck


well mr. snail lived for a little over 2 months but yesterday he died he didnt move from his spot for 2 days so i pulled him out and he smelled really bad poor mr. snail!
